My name is Kate Boyle
I believe leadership is one of the most powerful forces we have to shape the future of our organizations and communities. But leadership takes clarity and presence, and leaders need space, support, and challenge to grow into their full capacity.
My work is about helping people and organizations grow the kind of leadership that brings clarity, creativity, and joy to the work of change.
I work with people and organizations navigating complexity, stepping into new roles, or striving to lead with greater connection and purpose. I am a leadership development strategist, educator, facilitator, and coach.

Why and How
I Do This Work
Leadership is how we shape the future: moment by moment, relationship by relationship.
And right now, our organizations and our world need stronger leadership more than ever. We need leaders who can hold complexity, foster trust, and move with clarity and care. But too often, leadership is expected without support, alignment, or space to grow.
I started Filament to change that.
I work with organizations and leaders who want to lead with more purpose, more joy, more connection, and more impact. Whether you are trying to shift culture, grow leadership at all levels, or simply lead with greater clarity, I help create the conditions where leadership can thrive.
My work blends a coaching stance with a systems lens and a commitment to strategic clarity. I draw on adult learning theory, social anthropology, and design to help clients make leadership more intentional, more human, and more effective.
Whether I am facilitating a retreat, building a leadership program, or coaching an individual, I create space for reflection, clarity, and action so leadership becomes a source of energy, creativity, and forward momentum.

As founding Director of the Learning and Development department at Strategisense Consulting, I supported non profit and public sector leaders at all levels while sitting on the senior leadership team of a growing consulting practice. Before that, I delivered leadership development for scaling tech companies, led learning and curriculum for a system leadership and social innovation fellowship based at MaRS Discovery District, and created leadership programming for some of Canada's top young leaders with the Loran Scholars program.
Today, I run Filament Leadership as an independent practice, partnering with purpose-driven clients to grow leadership that is strategic, aligned, and creative.
